Equality Activists Wanted! Equality Budgeting Campaign, in association with the Irish Feminist Network. Do you want to do something about the inequalities present in Ireland today? Are you a woman between the ages of eighteen to thirty? If so, register as an equality activist today. You will receive: • Workshops on practical activism skills such as P.R., political lobbying, social media and direct action. • Seminars and information on equality budgeting. • Your transport costs covered. • A chance to meet other like-minded young women. • An opportunity to make a real difference! What is equality budgeting? Equality Budgeting is a practical measure which ensures that all tax increases and cuts are equality-proofed before they are implemented. This means that any government budget decisions must not unfairly impact any marginalised group in society. How do I sign up? There are forty spaces available for Equality Activists.
